Madrid-Barcelona

Pictures!

Me and Pelle Carlberg .He's a nice guy, and he told us he liked Dirty Tricks! This picture was taken after telling him that I was a very big fan of his music, but that I hadn't been able to see his show because I was drinking beers on the backstage while he was playing. I'm a terrible fan.
The Sound Of Arrows rock.

Friday night, Ocho y Medio, with Meneo getting nude. That was kinda disgusting, but very FUN.
Saturday Night: Show @ La 2 del Apolo with The Sound Of Arrows. They are SO FUCKING GOOD PEOPLE. We're in love.

SHEENA BEASTON & SAFARI

http://www.sheenabeaston.com/2009/04/cof-cof-release-free-mini-lp-safari.html

"...Last summer saw a brief blip on the blogworld radar for Cof Cof, with a few select sites picking up on their catchy, unique sound. We were lucky enough to catch them live last year, and they were just as enjoyable in person as on any recordings we'd since heard.

Now, with the release of Safari, we're once again invited to enter the world of Cof Cof, one of positive vibes, laidback grooves, and altogether well produced tracks.

On this LP, 5 tracks eagerly await listeners, and no doubt about it, you will be treated to a seamless sampler of the best that Cof Cof has put out thus far. "

Thank you!

BIGSTEREO & SAFARI

" Oh the sounds of spring… birds chirping, kids playing and pop on the radio. Just in time is Cof Cof’sSafari. Cof Cof probably don’t need much of an introduction — and they continue much of the same path with Safari: colorful, diy pop that’ll have you wrapped up in it after one listen. "
Thank you!

SAINT SQUARE

Alex has been awake the whole weekend finishing the new songs. And he is still working without rest. One of the reasons why it takes him sooo long, is because his computer. So that's why I've decided to create a platform to GET ALEX CUADRADO A MAC.

If you want to help him, you can donate money to the next PayPal account: voyaserunafallera@gmail.com (as much as you want!)

(btw, it was his birthday last month, so this could be your opportunity to make him the present you never did!)

Also, I can give you a bank account for you to transfer the money. Just e-mail me here: cuadralogica@gmail.com

GET ALEX CUADRADO A MAC!

CAN'T WAIT

You, people from the music blogs, you too can have a copy of Safari... COME ON!
Your address here: cuadralogica@gmail.com

you can download our songs, but not this!

Copenhagen, Staden Kobenhavn arrived from google.dk on "COF COF: apuntes importantes sobre el viernes" by searching for "alex cuadrado" rapidshare.

BABY BORN

Hello, this is my new baby.
I know it is not much, that it could be much better ( OKAY WE COULD HAVE AN STUDIO OR SOMETHING, RIGHT?)but, it is all that we could afford right now, and compared with the BULLSHIT we had before for home-recording, this is just greaaaat <3. You all should know that we've been recording voices, guitar and bass with something that we could say it is worst than going out with a tape recorder to record songs on the beach. I don't know if you know what I mean...BRUTAL NOISE could be the best words to describe it. My old computer makes a noise that could be compared with the noise of a FARM TRUCK, or the same noise that could make an AIRBUS. I had to sing FAR AWAY from the computer, but there was noise anyway, so HOLY CRAP.

Today starts a new age for Cof Cof's songs. It finally seems that we'll be able to get out of my bedroom for recording new songs with my new baby and my laptop; and we'll be able to make new songs while drinking beer like in the old times ( I've moved to my parent's house a few months ago and it was not possible because I don't want my parents to think that we have a drinking problem (it is great writing in english bc they're not gonna understand a word of this!)).

CHEERS!

A saber...

We're getting arrested.

Me pregunto si habrán vídeos....mmmm

Safari

two.one.five magazine

We're so flattered! A new review, this time from a Philadelphias's digital magazine.

Laptop-pop bursting with sunshine, the lo-fi effort from Spain's Cof Cof is blissful as a vespa ride along the Mediterranean coast . It's no surprise the boy-girl duo hail from the land of Siesta's given every single track on Who Said Party is a fast-paced dance track. Cof Cof, down to their indiscernible, accented lyrics and bouncy female vocals sound like the second coming of CSS. Thankfully, like the Brazilian babes who came before them, it hardly matters what they're saying because it all just sounds like a party. With their island-inspired beats and homemade synth, Cof Cof could warm up anything from a dance floor to a winters day. "Caribbean Boy," loaded with bouncing bass, snare drums and staccato guitars is so irresistibly pleasant, to dislike it would be both heartless and impossible. Other tracks like the loveable "Forbidden Cocktail," share that same playfulness contributing to the sense of overwhelming likability. (Unsigned)

We are still working on new songs...

it'sthemoneyshot, we love you!

One of our favourites moments of our shows in New York, was while we were playing at the Lit Lounge, and suddenly a stranger appeared and started dancing. He kept dancing the whole show; non-stop. I tried to go and talk with him after the show. He was sitting and writing in a notebook. Alex told me: Ana...maybe he'S THE MONEY SHOT! And, yes! he was!. I went back later to talk to him but he was already gone; I would have loved to hug him.
And now, I've found this new post at his blog:

"Listen up. I have an extremely important announcement--we have to make Cof Cof famous immediately. The Spanish duo recently revealed that they are actually a trio, and their third member is being held captive until the world recognizes how awesome they are. The "third" is kept in a dark room slaving away to create the hot jams that Ana and Alex take credit for.

This is the premise of "Third", the latest track by Valencia's electro darlings. The song doesn't evoke the carefree summer sound of "Forbidden Cocktail" or "Caribbean Boy", but releasing a song like that in the middle of winter would be totally depressing. However, the sounds aren't drastically different from anything you'd hear on Who Said Party?, and the theme reflects their consistent sense of humor and quirkiness.

When I was working on the short-lived Audience Critic blog (bringing it back in '09!), I attended Cof Cof's show at Lit Lounge with the intention of writing a critique of their audience. I even took notes on a napkin, and if I will write that damn piece if I ever find said napkin. Why am I bringing this up? Well, even if I was paying a lot of attention to the audience, I did happen to notice that Cof Cof were the two cutest people on this entire planet. For that reason, I wish them fame and glory. And if they achieve it, I am going to be shocked as fuck when I discover their whole "joke" about a third member wasn't a joke at all..."

DAZED & CONFUSED

http://www.dazeddigital.com/Music/article/1606/1/Youre_Cof_and_Im_Cof_
